Ancient Warrior Society 6th Dan promotion

Master Steven Phillips, left, owner and head instructor at West Windsor Taekwondo and Kickboxing Academy in Princeton Junction, New Jersey, receives an Ancient Warrior Society 6th Dan certificate from Society president Russ Johnson.  Master Phillips has been one of the country's top martial-arts competitors for most of his life and has been an outstanding teacher and role model for his students.  You can learn more about Master Phillips at

‚ÄčOutstanding Senior Athlete, Sparring.  Master Bobbie Wade, center, receives The Ancient Warrior Society's crystal trophy from tournament director Master Ivan Mendez, right, and Master Russ Johnson, Society president.  Master Wade was senior grand champion at the Mercer County Nationals held at Rider University on March 25, 2017.   

"Spirit of Taekwondo Award" to Grandmaster Chang Lee. 

May 30th, 2015.  Dallas, TX.   Society president Russ Johnson, far left, and Society board chairman Grandmaster Bobby Kim, far right, present The Ancient Warrior Society's highest honor to Grandmaster Chang Lee of Dallas, Texas.  The Spirit of Taekwondo Award can be given at the Board's discretion to a member for exceptional lifetime achievement.

   A founding member of the Society, Grandmaster Lee was hosting the highly successful Texas Elite Athletic Taekwondo Association Championships, one of the State's premier tournaments.
